Brief introduction

The Department of Chinese Studies balances both literary appreciation and specialized training. We guide our students to explore the values of Chinese literature and philosophy. We not only emphasize the basic knowledge of the Chinese language, but train Chinese language teachers in response to global trends. With the increased global demand for digital development, our teachers are looking for ways to strengthen the students’ digital abilities. Based on Kinmen, which is rich in traditional culture, the department often uses local characteristics and curriculum content as the subject of off-campus teaching, and invites academic groups outside the school to come to the school for exchanges to broaden the academic vision and exchange experience of teachers and students. Therefore, students from this department actively apply for exchange students in various universities and are very popular among them.
